|Our Walk in the Park Harness is a classic step-in style – meaning that there is no over-the-head entry required.

To put the harness on your pup :

– Open the harness by un-clicking the buckle
– Your pup will step one paw into each opening, one paw on either side of the center strap
– Gather the two sides of the buckle around your dog's sides, and click them together at the top of their back
– Attach your leash to the silver d-rings
– Ensure that the harness is adjusted to fit your pup correctly (we love the two-finger rule : see HOW TO FIT for more details!)
– Voila, you are ready to walk!

To measure & determine your pup's correct size :

– Using a fabric or paper tape measure, measure the circumference of your pup around their torso, just behind their front legs.
– Check the sizing guide below to see where your pup's girth measures. We always suggest selecting a size where your pup has some extra inches between the smallest or largest setting.

Pro measuring tip :: No tape measure? No problem! Take a piece of string, twine, shoestring – whatever you have, and use the same technique to wrap around your pup's torso. Keep your fingers at the length – then compare the length against a ruler or non-bending tape measure.

|A Walk in the Park Harnesses are made from strong, durable Biothane. Essentially a rubber coating over webbed nylon, Biothane is is a USA-made material loved for it's strength and durability.
